Our History

Our History

LA Cremation was created with one goal in mind: to simplify the cremation process and make it more affordable for families in the Los Angeles area. For too long, families were limited to expensive, traditional funeral services that didn’t always reflect their needs or values. We saw the need for a trusted, local cremation provider that could offer dignified care at a transparent price—and we’ve been answering that call ever since.

As a division of Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, which has operated its own crematory since 1929, LA Cremation brings together generations of cremation expertise with a modern, family-first approach. Today, our team continues to serve families across Southern California with compassion, professionalism, and the belief that everyone deserves respectful care, no matter their budget.

Our offices, Personal Care Center, and Crematory are all located in beautiful Redondo Beach, CA on the picturesque grounds of Pacific Crest Cemetery, established in 1902.
